Return Or Exchange An Item By Mail

Return Policy

Shade Clothing gladly accepts returns of unworn, unwashed, undamaged or defective merchandise purchased by phone or online within 60 days of original purchase provided such product is returned in the same condition as it was in when it was purchased.

Returns accompanied by an original receipt made within 60 days of the purchase will be credited to the original form of payment. Returns accompanied by an original receipt made more than 60 days after the purchase date, should be credited for the original price paid in the form of a merchandise credit.

Swimwear items must be in new condition and have the hygienic liner intact in order to be returned. Swimwear items returned not meeting these criteria become the property of Shade Clothing and no refund/exchange will be issued.

Returns without an original receipt will be credited for the item's current selling price in the form of a merchandise credit.

All sales are considered final after 180 days and may not be returned or exchanged.

Items ending with $0.88 are Final Sale merchandise and cannot be returned or exchanged.  Please notice the “Final Sale” text that is listed next to the product. “Final Sale” is also noted in your shopping bag at checkout to help clarify that it is a Final Sale item prior to completing the transaction.  Please note that during special events where the entire website may be on sale the Final Sale items will not end in $0.88.


Returns with an Original Sales Receipt
For returns postmarked within 60 days of the purchase date, a credit will be issued to the credit card used for the original purchase. Returns accompanied by an original receipt made more than 60 days after the purchase will be credited for the item's current selling price in the form of a merchandise credit. A return/exchange or gift receipt does not serve as an original receipt. For returns postmarked greater than 60 days after the purchase date, a merchandise credit will be sent to the shipping address on the original order.

Returns with a Gift Receipt
Refunds will be issued in the form of a merchandise credit and will be sent to the shipping address on the original order.

Returns without a Receipt
Returns without an original receipt will receive merchandise credit for the current selling price, and will be sent to the shipping address on the original order.

Merchandise Credits
Merchandise Credits may be redeemed at www.shadeclothing.com for merchandise only, except to the extent required by law. Merchandise Credits are valid in the country of issuance only. Lost, stolen, or damaged merchandise credit cards may be replaced for the remaining balance upon presenting an original sale or gift receipt. Merchandise Credits are non transferable.

Exchange Policy
Shade Clothing gladly accepts exchanges of unworn, unwashed, undamaged or defective merchandise purchased by phone or online within 45 days of original purchase. Exchanges can only be made on the same item in a different size or color.

You can return your purchase using our mail return process. Order your new merchandise at the same time by calling 1-800-504-5596. We will bill your credit card for the new merchandise and process your credit for returned merchandise as soon as we receive it. If, for some reason, we no longer have the item requested, we will issue a refund in accordance with this policy. Before sending your exchange, please fill out the back of your packing list to indicate the type of exchange you would like to make and enclose it in your package.

Return Or Exchange An Item By Mail
Complete the Return Mail Form (located on the back of your packing slip), including "Quantity Returned" and "Reason Code". For exchanges, please fill out the "Exchange Details" section of your invoice, including the product information for each new item.

For returns through the U.S. Postal Services, affix the pre-paid postage label that came with the merchandise and indicate on the pre-paid postage label whether you prefer a refund or exchange.

If you would like to use a carrier other than the U.S. Postal Service, please follow the instructions above and ship your return to:

Shipping fees involved in making a return to the Online Store will not be reimbursed. Packages must be pre-paid or returned using the pre-paid postage label that came with the order. We cannot accept C.O.D deliveries.

Price Adjustments
A one-time price adjustment will be permitted on any full-priced merchandise within 7 days from the original date of purchase. To receive a price adjustment, email us at orders@shadeclothing.com or contact customer service at 1-800-504-5596 within the 7 day window. A credit will be processed on the credit card used for the original purchase. Price adjustments will not be allowed on some orders that receive promotion discounts.
