How do I place an order?
Ordering online at ShadeClothing.com is easy. From the View Checked Items, Outfits or product pages, simply select the color, size, and quantity of the item you would like and click Add to Bag. Once you are finished shopping, click on the Shopping Bag button at the top right hand corner of the page to review your items, then click Checkout to begin the Checkout process.
How does real time inventory work?
Our inventory is managed in real time. Product availability is displayed on each product page. It is important to know that your shopping bag will not reserve the actual inventory on your order until the Checkout process is complete. On occasion, items in your shopping bag can become "Out of Stock" before the Checkout process is complete. If this occurs you will be sent back to the shopping bag, where the item will display an "Out of Stock" message. To proceed with your Checkout, you will need to either select another size (if available), or remove the product completely from your shopping bag. This usually occurs on items, such as sale merchandise, with low inventory levels of only 1 or 2 units.
Why are products removed from my shopping bag?
A product can be removed from a customer's shopping bag if it was saved in the bag during a previous session and has sold out since that session. In this case, the product will be automatically removed from the bag in the next session.
What size is the right size?
Select the right size using our Shade Clothing size chart. Simply look for the correct measurements to ensure that your purchase will be the appropriate fit.
How do I pay for my order?
For your convenience, we accept all major credit cards (American Express, VISA, MasterCard, JCB, and Discover/Novus).
Is my credit card secure?
The importance of security for all personally identifiable information associated with our customers is of utmost concern to us. We take great care in providing secure transmission of your information from your computer to our servers. For instance, when credit card information is transmitted, we use the industry standard SSL (secure socket layer) encryption. SSL encryption is a method by which information is encrypted while being transmitted over the Internet. While no method is completely impenetrable, SSL is the state-of-the-art encryption technology used in e-commerce today. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we are committed to protecting your personal information, Shade Clothing cannot entirely ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us.
The protection of your personal information is important to Shade Clothing, and as a result, we do not accept orders via email. We will gladly accept your order by phone at 1-800-504-5596 or by fax at 1-707-678-1315. Our Customer Service hours are Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (PT), and Sunday 8:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m. (PT).
How quickly will my order be processed?
All domestic orders received prior to 12:00 p.m. (noon), Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, are processed within 1 - 2 business days upon credit card validation. Rush delivery shipping takes 3 - 5 business days after order processing. Orders going to Alaska, Hawaii, APO/FPO addresses and the U.S. Territories are shipped via U.S.P.S. Priority Mail and may take up to 20 business days for delivery. Next Day delivery is also available to most addresses.
When will my credit card be charged?
Your debit or credit card will be pre-authorized at the time your order is submitted. The funds will be held by your bank, which may affect your account balance. Shade Clothing is not responsible for overdraft fees. Your debit or credit card will be charged at the time the order ships.
Do you ship outside the United States?
Shadeclothing.com currently ships to Military (APO/FPO) addresses and U.S. Territories (including Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, the Pacific Islands, Guam and American Samoa). Additionally, the site accepts international billing addresses. For additional shipping information, click here .

What are the benefits of creating an account online?
Make shopping at shadeclothing.com faster and easier by creating an account online. You will be able to track your orders, save addresses, manage your password, and cancel orders (within an hour of placing them). To create an account, go to the "My Account" link at the top of the page. It only takes a few minutes and you can update or view your account at any time. How can I cancel my order?
If you have a Shade Clothing account and would like to cancel an order that was placed within the hour, you can do so by signing in and canceling your order in the "Order History / Status" section of My Account. If you do not have an account, you may contact a Customer Service Team Member at 1-800-504-5596 within one hour of placing your order. Once your order has entered into our shipping process (which occurs one hour after you submit your order), it cannot be cancelled.
How much can I purchase of a single style?
We do not authorize the purchase of our merchandise for resale purposes. To enforce this policy, we reserve the right to limit purchases to five (5) items per style, per color, per customer, regardless of size of the merchandise. We also reserve the right to cancel multiple orders of merchandise purchased in violation of this policy. We may modify this policy at any time for any reason and we may make exceptions to this policy, as we deem appropriate.
Why does Shade Clothing charge sales tax on online orders?
Shade Clothing is required by law to charge sales or use tax. The actual tax rate applied to your purchase is based on the destination of the order. Please note some states require us to tax shipping charges as well as merchandise.

What do I do if I have a defective item?
At Shade Clothing we pride ourselves on the high quality of our products. If an item you have purchased is defective, you may also return it to us by mail, and our Team Members will offer you a full value exchange or credit.
